Here in The Netherlands, the sun is shining and the skies are clear... quite litterally. Not a plane in sight until at least 8.00 pm tonight thanks to the ash cloud from Iceland. :)
So before I head out and enjoy one of the first spring days, here's a new dress I made. It comes in no less then 9 colors and so it's also available in a discounted 'All Colors' pack.

It's been quite some time since I dabbled in Photoshop and now that I have, I kinda forgot I still had a dusty old blog to show you. Sorry! So here it is, the Brionny dress (bottom picture) is something I made a while ago and comes in 3 colors. Talise, a set of shorts and flexi shirt is what I made most recently.

It's been quite a ride the past 12 months or so. I suddenly closed Blooberry in 2008 simply because RL became so busy so fast that I couldn't keep up with it anymore. But I kept the island in the hope that someday I could return and I think I've made it!
I'm starting very small, tiny even. I opened a small store that houses most of the things that were there when I closed up shop. Nothing new yet but right now, I'm just glad to be back!

Blooberry joins Relay For Life

looking at the blogfeeds coming in this past week, I don't see how it would be possible that you could have missed the fact that Relay For Life 2008 has kicked off, it has sent a buzz thoughout the entire grid.
Like many others out there, I feel a personal connection to this fundraiser, cancer has left a mark on my life and the lives of my family.

This year, I've been asked to help out and I feel honored to present to you my small contribution to the fight against cancer. I have placed several donation kiosks on the Blooberry sim, one is near the entrance to the main store and will be the first thing you run into when you use a Blooberry landmark.
I've also made a RFL version of the last two dresses that I've released, the Portland Fancy in pink and the Victoria Halterdress in Ocean:

Of course, all proceeds from the sales of these dresses will go to RFL and these colors will not be available in any other way. You can find them at the Blooberry main store and at the RFL Clothing Fair.

But here it is: the Victoria Halterdress, comes in 8 colors and an all color pack is availabe.
The top of the dress comes on all layers so it's easy to layer with other items and the skirt is of course, modifiable.

I'm totally addicted to watching old movies on Turner Classic Movies and made this dress after seeing the dress Judy Garland was wearing while dancing with Gene Kelly in the movie Summer Stock.

New store is open!

Yes! The new store is finally here. I've finished it and remade all the posters so here's to a fresh start :) And what better way to celebrate then with a 50% off sale? The sale has started and will last a week until the 24th so be sure to stop by! After the sale all items will return to normal price, except for all items that are on the second floor in the main store. Those items will remain on sale and will eventually disappear from the collection. Yes, that includes hair, I'm working on all new styles with all new textures .

Also new, is the TMC Store Card system, for now only useable in the main store on the Blooberry sim. The Blooberry store cards are transferable so they make great giftcards! Click the store card dispenser in the main store for more info on how it works and pricing, some cards are available with a 10% discount.

Old and New

I've got a new shirt out that is called Silhouette, it's a t-shirt layered over a check-patterned longsleeved shirt and comes in 4 colors on 1 jacketlayer.

And I also have an oldie for you: The Fergie Belt. A while ago, Digit Darkes and I, worked together on a Black Eyed Peas project and one of the things we made then was the Fergie set.
By popular demand, the belt is now available at Blooberry apart from the full set!

That's it for now, the new store is coming along nicely and it shouldn't be to long before I'll open it. When I get there you'll be the first to know!

I mentioned it before, I'm building a new store and making a fresh start! :) I'm trying to do everything at once, of course. Building the store, making new posters, uploading, working on new items in between.. *sigh*
So many ideas, so little time! But I feel the store is coming along nicely!
I have no idea when it will actually all be finished, all I can say is just a little longer...

Finally, something new

It's been a while but I decided to start the new year completely fresh and make everything new! I'm redoing the complete main store, a new building is in the making and all posters will be new ones as well. It's a bit of early spring cleaning so to speak. ;)

I'll show a little preview of the new store a bit later, for now I have a few new releases for you. Both the top and the sweaterdress are available in 8 colors, the striped pants come in 5 colors.

Also, for those of you that are in chronic need of groupslots (remember when you could join only 15 groups in SL?! I do! ), I have good news! I've aquired and installed the Subscribe-o-Matic. All you have to do is touch the kiosk and you'll receive Blooberry updates and groupitems via IM.
And don't worry about missing any messages sent this way, there is a message history that can be viewed on the Subscribe-o-Matic website in the group directory or you can find one of my kiosks, click on it and acces history that way. You'll find 2 kiosks in the mainstore and some in the various Blooberry shops around SL.

1. I have a thing for lipgloss with glitter. Seriously, I can't help myself.

2. The only bone in in my body that was ever broken is my skull, I got a new bike when I was a kid and it was a little too big for me. my feet slipped from the paddles and before I found them again, I tipped over with my head into a concrete pillar. I had headaches ever since but never told my parents. They found out 2 years later when an x-ray was made to see what the mysterious bump on my head was. Turned out be bone that had grown over to close the crack.. :s

3. I LOVE Star Trek. All of them, the original series, Next Generation, Voyager, DS9, the movies, you name it. But also Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Farescape... Actually, I love anything space! :)

4. I write with my left hand but I do everything else with my right hand. In the early 80's, my teacher would put a stamp on my right hand every day to remind me that was the hand I was to use for writing until my mom found out, marched up to school and gave her an ear full. But by that time, I had already learned to write with my right hand and still can, just not as fast. ^^

5. When my husband and I just met, we found out that my phonenumber devided by 2, was his phonenumber!

6. I drink Hazlenut coffee and Turkish apple tea every . single . day.

7. I love to read. I live across the street from the library and when I go there to find a book size is all that matters. The bigger the better! ;)

8. I collect little faeries, dragons and Maneki Neko, the last 2 I even have as incense burners. They're scattered all over my house.

For the last couple of weeks, it was always something in SL... When I wanted to upload, the system couldn't process it. When I wanted to snap pictures, the clothes wouldn't rez or even change for that matter. When I wanted to box up some things... It would disappear into virtual oblivion...
Let's just say SL was a lot less addictive then it used to be, these past weeks. But here are some new things that finally managed to complete the cycle and ended up in a box with a picture slapped onto it. Both available in multiple colors:

Say What?!

I've been living under a prim rock it seems because over the weekend, I found a link to the Voicemap. It shows which regions in SL have been voice-enabled and if they are not, when they are scheduled to be hooked up to the new voice phenomenon.
So, when I looked up Blooberry, I found out voice had been enabled last friday!
Even though I have been looking forward to see what voice in SL is going to be like, I hadn't downloaded the right client to try it out. But I have now! And it's been a lot of fun so far. :)
So, if you want to try it out, download the First Look Voice Client and teleport to Blooberry.

Blooberry is open!

Finally. I have to say, it was exhausting. But it was soooooo worth it! The main store is now on Blooberry Square and I built a cute little mall around it. It was so great to see people come in and getting a little spot of their own to set up shop!

I'm very pleased all the shops were filled in no time, it's starting to feel like Blooberry Square was here all along. :)

Now I'm going to concentrate on finishing all the things I started over the past few months, my mind has been too scattered during building to actually complete anything! But I promise, new goodies coming soon!

Happy St. Patty's Day to all of you out there that celebrate it. It's been over a week since I posted about getting my own island and I wanted to let you know I'm stil alive. I'm pleased to say, it's almost ready. I'm hoping to open within a week of this post. And by the time it does open, I'll probably go to sleep for a week! It's been exhausting! Of course, I knew it wasn't going to be easy but trying to combine setting up an island with a million other things AND two RL kids tugging at your sleeves is almost murder.
So, just a little while longer and you can come see how it looks, my av will be snoozing in a corner somewhere.

A place of my own

It was always the plan or maybe more like a dream... but I have finally done it! Two weeks ago, I forked over my hard earned cash to the Lindens and they gave me my very own private island called Blooberry. It was delivered in the middle of the night my time (GMT +1) but is was a nice surprise when I logged into SL this morning!

I always wanted this, what SL resident doesn't? I had a million plans for it too but now that it's actually here... I'm a bit lost. Decisions, decisions! I can't make up my mind on what to build or even where to start... hehe..

But I will, eventually. So, now you know. Blooberry will be on it's own little square on the map. I don't have an ETA for opening up the island but as soon as I know, you'll know!

Now wish me luck. :)

Yes that's right... new shoes at Blooberry!
It's been an aweful long time since I made any shoes so I'm quite pleased with the way they turned out. But seriously, after 12 colors, I just had to stop myself... I could have gone on forever with these.. haha! I hope you like them as much as I do. And if you do, the All Colors Pack gives you a 50% discount. :)

It has come to my attention that as a designer in Second Life... you need a blog! Had I known this, I would have opened the window and let that old drawing tablet fall two stories to a shattering end. Nah, just kidding. But it's not the first time I've been here. I remember turning HTML into a full-time hobby rather then actually posting anything on my blog. Not that I was ever any good at it. Come to think of it... that might be the reason none of my blogs still exist. But so much has changed! Thank you, Blogger for making this so much easier. :)

Anyway, lets hope this blog will live a bit longer then they usually do with me... haha.
